Bubble on Gum Street Apartments

563 E. 13th Ave.

The Kennewick Housing Authority recently secured building permits for Bubble on Gum, a long-planned affordable apartment complex.

It will be built on a 3.7-acre site at East 13th Avenue and Gum Street in east Kennewick.

The 10-building project includes rental units, parking and recreational amenities.

Building permits value construction at about $20 million. T.W. Clark Construction LLC is the contractor.

Pasco

Idaho Central Credit Union

7406 Three Rivers Drive

Hummel Construction & Development has prepared a site off Road 68 for a branch of Idaho Central Credit Union, which is expanding into the Tri-Cities. A building permit is still pending.

The future bank branch is near the site for Columbia Basin Health Association’s new clinic, under construction at the same intersection.

ICCU is a newcomer to the Tri-Cities credit union offerings, with branches in construction in Kennewick and Pasco as well.

West Richland is considering the building permits for Copper View Apartments, a 264-unit complex with clubhouse, pool and associated amenities.

Copper View Apartments

Belmont Boulevard and Kona Drive

West Richland is considering Copper View Apartments, a 264-unit complex with clubhouse, pool and associated amenities on a 13.5-acre site at Belmont Boulevard and Kona Drive, according to documents filed under the state Environmental Protection Act or SEPA.

City officials have determined it will not have a significant environmental impact.

Once officially approved, construction will take 18 months.
