Kennewick
Havenridge Apartments
4305 S. Zintel Way
Site work has started on a 195-unit apartment complex near the Zintel Canyon Dam.
The new complex flanks Highway 395 near Canyon Lakes, across the highway from The Auto Lot at Southridge.
It is close to a separate apartment development, Canyon View, now under construction at 3605 S. Zintel Way, at the Hildebrand Boulevard roundabout.
Together, the two projects will add 253 units to the Southridge neighborhood.
The newer project is led by Evergreen Housing Development Group LLC, based in Seattle. Exxel Pacific Inc. is the utility contractor.
The city of Kennewick has authorized utility work but building permits have not been issued for the project.
It is marketing the project on its website as a garden-style complex that will balance convenience to shopping, health care and transportation, against a residential setting.
It will open in summer 2027.
Evergreen operates in Washington and Oregon. It already has several apartment complexes in Richland: 575 Columbia, Evergreen Ridge, Orchard Hills and Regency Park.
It paid $3.55 million for the 12.5-acre property in 2022.
Canyon View Apartments
3605 S. Zintel Way
Canyon View Apartments, a 58-unit complex nestled near Zintel Canyon Dam, is largely framed as the project takes shape at the Hildebrand Boulevard roundabout at Canyon Lakes.
The project, being built by Elite Construction & Development, consists of five buildings with amenities on a 4.5-acre parcel.
