Tri-Cities Airport parking

3601 N. 20th Ave.

The Port of Pasco has initiated review work to expand the parking lot at the Tri-Cities Airport.

The proposal would add nearly 500 parking spaces and new lighting east of the airport entrance.

The airport raised parking rates in January to support a $2 million expansion of the credit card lot, as well as new payment technology. Work begins this summer.

The airport needs added parking to keep up with rising demand. The airport is on track to set a new passenger boarding record after narrowly missing the previous record, set in 2019, by about 1,000 passengers in 2023.
