Kennewick
Sherman Street Residential
2716 S. Sherman st.
Tri-City Development is grading an 18.8-acre site at the northwest corner of South Sherman Street and Bob Olson Parkway in anticipation of a future residential development.
The project includes leveling the site with fill imported from the Apple Valley subdivision construction to the south of Bob Olson, in the Thompson Hill area.
No additional permits have been issued.
AutoZone expansion (update)
1220 W. Fourth Ave.
AutoZone Parts Inc. is adding a 18,850-square-foot warehouse at its store in downtown Kennewick. Corstone Contractors is the general contractor.
Pasco
New Commercial building
1304 N. Fourth Ave.
A former car wash was demolished near Atomic Foods in central Pasco and is being replaced with a 4,000-square-foot commercial building.
Octavio Rodriguez is building the $600,000 square foot project at Fourth and Marie. Potential tenants have not been identified in building permits.
Zen-Noh Hay Inc.
2444 E. Dock St.
Zen-Noh Hay, which ships compressed hay cubes to dairy and beef farmers in Japan, is rebuilding a hay storage building at its facilities in the Port of Pasco after a damaging fire in 2023.
Teton West of Washington LLC is the contractor for project, which has a construction value of nearly $3.5 million, according to a permit issued by the city of Pasco in February.
