Holiday Inn Express Columbia Center

7715 W. Quinault Ave.

The four-story Holiday Inn is now being framed near the Red Lion Columbia Center Hotel, south of Columbia Center mall.

The project by Tri-City Hotel Corp. and Ignite Hotels will feature 96 guest rooms plus amenities.

Baldwin General contracting Inc. is the contractor for the $11 million project.

The Tri-Cities has three Holiday Inns. They are on George Washington Way in Richland, at the Hapo Center in Pasco and on Center Parkway near Tapteal Drive in Richland.

A former Big Lots store at Kennewick Plaza in Central Kennewick is being converted into an O’Reilly Auto Parts Store.

Katie Rutz is the contractor on the $300,000 renovation.

Wallace Properties owns the shopping center, which is anchored by Dollar Tree and Ross Dress For Less.

The national retailer closed its Richland outlet in late 2024 and then announced soon after plans to its remaining Washington state stores, including the one on Kennewick Avenue.

10th Avenue Metro Mart

Foundation work is ongoing at a future convenience store and laundromat at West 10th Avenue and Olympia Street, near Riverview Heights Cemetery in central Kennewick.

The $1.13 million project includes a 5,000-square-foot convenience store, laundromat and fuel pumps.

The project is being developed by Mahal Investments Central/Metro Mart #3. Thorn Construction Group is the contractor.

Corwin Automotive Service Complex

Corwin Automotive Group has begun construction of a new service complex to support its busy Ford dealership at the Pasco Autoplex.

The $12.5 million project near Broadmoor is being built by LCR Construction.

The 50,000-square-foot project will double the size of its service center, allowing it to handle bigger and heavier vehicles and accommodate its growing business.

The 8.5-acre site is near the Broadmoor outlet mall and Camping World Pasco, off Interstate 182.

Richland

Construction is almost complete for Liberty Food Truck Park, which will accommodate up to eight food trucks at 404 Riverstone Drive, off the bypass highway in Richland.

Construction is nearing an end on Liberty Food Truck Park, near the bypass highway and Duportail Bridge.

The park includes bathrooms as well as utility hookups for up to eight food trucks.

McAllister Holdings Inc is the property owner. J. Pierce & Company LLC is the contractor for the $400,000 project.
