Holiday Inn Express

A massive retaining wall was recently finished at West Quinault Avenue and North Columbia Center Boulevard in support of a future Holiday Inn Express hotel in Kennewick.
The lower wall is about 415 feet long and 6 feet high. The upper wall is even longer up to 17 feet in height, according to building permit information.
The $11 million, 96-room Holiday Inn is being constructed next to the Red Lion Hotel by Ignite Hotels and Tri-City Hotel Corp., led by Gurbir Sandhu.
Baldwin General Contracting is the contractor.
The Flying Pickle

The excavation work visible from Interstate 82 and is associated with development to the north of the school. Building permits indicate an extension of Ridgeline Drive will separate Urban Trails from the school.
The main entrance for Urban Trails is on Bob Olson Parkway at Wheat Road.
