Hummel Construction is building the Pasco branch of Idaho Central Credit Union near Road 68.

ICCU is entering the Tri-Cities with branches in Kennewick, Pasco and Richland.

The Pasco branch includes a 2,500-square-foot drive-thru and a 4,700-square-foot building. The project has a construction value of $5 million, according to Pasco building permit, which was issued in October.

Harp’s Construction LLC is constructing a 1,600-square-foot, two-story drive-thru coffee stand on a site owned by Heavy 2 LLC at the intersection of Queensgate Drive and Keene Road.

The project includes a meeting and break room space on the second floor.

The site is part of a gas station. The project is valued at $400,000, according to building records.

State environmental records identify the future cafe as a Turbo Coffee Drive-Thru and indicate it will feature a patio as well as parking.

North Richland Apartments (Update)

1866 Jadwin Ave.

Visible construction has started on a north Richland apartment complex first proposed several years ago.

The multi-building, 114-unit garden style complex is being constructed on a formerly vacant lot west of the Safeway.

The project has a construction value of $14.2 million and will include community amenities such as a clubhouse and pool, according to permit records.

Jadwin Spokane LLC is the property owner. T.W. Clark Construction of Spokane Valley is the developer and Trek Architecture is the designer.

Badger South Taco Bell

The Tri-Cities’ newest Taco Bell opened Dec. 19 at 2293 Gateway Ave., making it the first fast-food restaurant in Richland’s Badger South neighborhood.

DA Bentley Construction LLC built the 2284-square-foot structure for Weber Enterprises, a family-owned Eugene, Ore. company that franchises Taco Bells in two states under the banner “Columbia Bells LLC.”

The Badger South restaurant had a construction value of about $450,000 and total project value of $1.4 million, according to building records.

Now that construction has given way to operations, the restaurant employs 17.
