Nothing Bundt Cakes is bringing their sweet treats to Richland.
The national chain, which specializes in bundt cakes, will be moving into the old location of Mezzo Thai at 110 Gage Blvd.
Founded in 1997, this bakery offers nine regular flavors plus seasonal favorites.
Cakes also come in a variety of sizes, from as small as a cupcake to tiered cakes. They even offer catering for events and weddings. Most of their 400-plus locations offer online ordering and local delivery.
They have yet to announce an opening date, but signs are up at the new location.
Mezzo Thai has since been reincarnated as Soi 705 at 705 The Parkway in Richland.
Ice Harbor
Supply chain issues are delaying the opening of Ice Harbor at its new location in Kennewick.
The Tri-Cities favorite was expected to open at the new site in May but now that’s pushed to late-summer.
The new location at the old J. Lieb juice processing plant will be roughly twice as large as the current downtown location along the railroad tracks, and they will be moving all of their brewing equipment over. With all the extra space, they plan to expand brewing operations at a future date.
Once the new location opens, they’ll be closing their longtime home a few blocks away. Ice Harbor at the Marina will remain open as well.
Their beer can currently be found regionally, east of the Cascades. Their distribution range stretches from Yakima in the west to Pullman and Spokane in the east, and bars and retailers in between.
They offer a variety of beers, many with Tri-Cities-related names, such as its Columbia Kölsch, Runaway Red Ale, Sternwheeler Stout, Dust Cloud IPA and Hop Warrior.
Public Market
The Public Market at Columbia River Warehouse also has delayed its opening date. No specific date is set yet.
The 60,000-square-foot indoor market is downstairs from Ice Harbor’s new location.
Eventually the building will host the market, Ice Harbor and other vendors.
The Lady Bug Shoppe is their newest announced vendor. The boutique recently lost its home after a devastating fire at the Cascade Building in downtown Kennewick.
Other vendors announced on their Facebook page include Kindred Spirits, Tinman Signs, Dixie Del’s cut flower vendor, Enlighten Candles and more.
