Baek will be running 1Derful Korean BBQ out of the Food Park, and has space available for six other dining options, when the park opens this fall.

He told the Herald that after two years of the COVID-19 pandemic it was apparent that the demand for outdoor options was not going away.

The food park will feature seven walk-up order window-style restaurants and a large interconnected patio area, totaling about 30,000 square feet.

Baek plans to serve Korean BBQ fried chicken and meat-rice bowls, as well as side dishes.

While the other dining options aren’t firmed up yet, he hopes to see a variety of food, beverages and desserts available.

Baek said he wants to create a unique dining experience where people from all over the Tri-Cities can come for a meal, or host birthday parties, graduations and other events.
