What’s the best winery in Tri-Cities? Vote in the final four of our bracket

For the past month, the Herald has been conducting reader polls in an attempt to find Tri-Citians’ favorite winery.

There are dozens upon dozens of wine-tasting opportunities in the Tri-Cities area. After a reader callout in June, we created a bracket of the top 32.

Since then, hundreds of votes have been cast to determine the winner.

The following wineries were nominated but lost a matchup throughout the voting rounds:

Round one eliminations

  • Gordon Estate Winery

  • McKinley Springs Winery

  • Chandler Reach Vineyard

  • Terra Blanca Winery

  • Domanico Cellars

  • Farmhand Winery

  • Badger Mountain Vineyard

  • Upchurch Vineyard

  • Heron Bluff Winery

  • Desert Wind Winery

  • Tagaris Winery

  • Powers Winery

  • Cooper Wine Company

Round three eliminations

The matchup between J. Bookwalter Winery and Frichette Winery was a close one, with Frichette Winery taking the win with just 51% of votes. Nearly 900 votes were cast for the matchup, and the win was determined by 25 votes.

This week, the final four is now open for voting, including Palencia Wine Company and Monarcha Winery, Kiona Vineyards, Anelare Winery and Frichette Winery.

This round will remain open for voting through noon on Monday, July 21. You can vote as many times as you’d like until then.
