What’s the best winery in Tri-Cities? Vote in the second round of our bracket
The Tri-City Herald issued a callout for readers to nominate their favorite local winery earlier this month. Based on the submissions, we created a bracket of 32 wineries in the Tri-Cities area.
Tri-Cities is part of the Columbia Valley viticultural area, which encompasses millions of acres growing Washington’s wine grape supply. That means there are endless options for wine tasting and bottle purchasing in Tri-Cities.
But which will be crowned the ultimate favorite?
After the first round of voting, the following wineries have been eliminated:
Airfield Estates
Gordon Estate Winery
McKinley Springs Winery
Chandler Reach Vineyard
Terra Blanca Winery
Domanico Cellars
Farmhand Winery
Badger Mountain Vineyard
Upchurch Vineyard
Heron Bluff Winery
Desert Wind Winery
Tagaris Winery
Powers Winery
Cooper Wine Company
Hedges Family Estate
Wautoma Springs
The closest call was between Tucannon Cellars and Badger Mountain Vineyard. Tucannon Cellars took the win by only a few votes, ending with 51% of votes. No other matchup was that close.
With these eliminations, the sweet 16 round is now open for voting.
This round of voting will remain open until noon on Monday, July 7. You can vote as many times as you’d like in that time frame.
