Here is a roundup of Tri-City Herald stories for the Aug. 3, 2021 primary election in 10 races and two ballot measures in Benton and Franklin counties.

The top two vote-getters in the council and school board races will advance to the general election in November.
Ballot measures
Richland
- Richland City Council: Bob Thompson, Chaune’ Fitzgerald and Jhonna Jones.

- Richland School Board: Heather Cleary, Audra Byrd and Danica Garcia
Kennewick

Ballot drop boxes
Ballots must be postmarked or put into a local drop box by Aug. 3. No postage is needed. Ballots mailed Aug. 3 will not be postmarked in time.
Washington law allows voters to register in person and vote at a county election office before 8 p.m. on Election Day.
In Benton County, you can register at the Benton County Voting Center at 2610 N. Columbia Center Blvd. in Richland.
In Franklin County, your can register at the election office at the Franklin County Courthouse, at 1016 N. Fourth Ave. in Pasco.

- Jefferson Park off Symons Street in Richland
- 3803 W. Van Giesen St. at the West Richland Library
- 3100 Belmont Blvd. at the West Richland Shops
