Update: 1 arrested for Pasco backyard shooting, 2 still wanted on $1 million murder warrants

An 18-year-old suspect in a backyard shooting that left one man dead and two others wounded was captured Thursday in Granger.

Antonio Larios was taken into custody by U.S. marshals and Pasco police detectives hours after they went public with the names of the three suspects.

He now is being held in the Franklin County jail on $1 million bail for second-degree murder and two counts of first-degree assault.

Pasco police released Larios’ moniker as “Pistol Pete,” but have since said he was misidentified in their original Facebook posting.

The two other suspects — Juan M. “Scars” Montalvo, 25, and Miguel A. “Terco” Montalvo, 21 — are still wanted, Pasco police said on their Facebook page.

The Montalvo cousins are “presumed to be armed and dangerous.” They face the same charges as Larios, with $1 million bail each.

Court records detailing their suspected roles in the crime are sealed.

A fourth person tied to the Lewis Street shooting also was arrested Thursday afternoon after officers, detectives and regional SWAT members surrounded a Pasco home.

Eusiah A. Stell, 18, is being held on suspicion of rendering criminal assistance.

While police say Stell is connected to the crime, it’s not clear what role he played.

Luis “Oso” Contreras, 29, was killed April 29 while in the backyard of a home at 1901 Lewis Street shortly before 6 p.m.

Neighbors heard as many as 10 gunshots and then saw several people running from the area.

Contreras died after being shot several times and two other men were found wounded.

Sergio Torres and Robert Montano Jr., were treated at local hospitals and have been released.

Pasco investigators say the suspects may be linked to a black 2006 Kia Sorento SUV with the license plate number AWR4147.

Juan Montalvo is 6-foot-2, weighs 265 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. He normally wears glasses and has a tattoo on the back of his head.

He was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2013 after being convicted of breaking into a home, and having a gun illegally. He had several convictions as a juvenile.
