Pasco is celebrating spring in style. The first few weeks of May are filled with festivities that families are sure to love.

The fun kicks off with the fan favorite Taco Crawl, which leads into the city’s Cinco de Mayo celebration and the beginning of the season for the Pasco Farmers Market.

Cinco de Mayo

The annual Cinco de Mayo parade and festival is set for Saturday, May 2.

The parade starts at 10 a.m. at Volunteer Park. Celebrate the city’s Mexican heritage through food, vendors, dance and entertainment. All the events are free.

Festivities begin at 11 a.m. in Peanuts Park and downtown Pasco.

Highlights include a marimbas musical performance at 12:25 p.m. followed by Pasco dance teams and then mariachi band music and ballet folklorico show.

A Selena Contest is set for 2:30 p.m. and live music kicks off a 5 p.m.

The main act this year is a comedy show from Chingo Bling at 7 p.m. The Houston-based entertainer and rapper tours nationwide with his Tex-Mex humor that he features on his YouTube page and a standup special previously streamed on Netflix.

The 2026 Pasco Taco Crawl is a self-guided tour of 20 of the best taquerías and restaurants in the city. Booklets are available for pickup now. The crawl runs through May 2.

The 10th year of the event promises to be one of the best yet with proceeds helping the Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties. The Taco Crawl has raised more than $90,000 for the nonprofit over the years.

Early-bird sales have ended, but booklets are still on sale. For $45 you get vouchers for 20 tacos and can help crown Pasco’s best taco.

Four-time winner Trejo’s Tacos has some strong competition if they want to retain the crown for the third year in a row.

Farmers Market

The Pasco Farmers Market is accepting vendor applications. It officially opens on May 9 and runs through Oct. 31.

The market is open 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday during the season at the Mercado pavilion in Peanuts Park, 426 W. Lewis St.

Since 1988 the Pasco Farmers Market has provided a space for local farmers, artisans and food vendors to connect with the community.
