Openings: Breakfast spot with Mexican flair + 2026 Taco Crawl
A new restaurant is doing breakfast with a Mexican flair.
Casa de los Chilaquiles has opened in the former El Mirador Pasco restaurant spot, 1315 N. 20th Ave. in Pasco.
Business hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The new restaurant is helmed by Abel Brambila, owner of El Antojo & El Rinconsilo.
Brambila brings a focus to traditional chilaquiles, a Mexican breakfast dish featuring fried corn tortilla pieces simmered in sauces.
He created seven new sauces for the venture.
The menu highlights a Chilaquiles Flight with a choice of three sauces, Chilaquiles Molcajete, served on a hot stone with choice of red, green or habanero sauce and birria.
Other options include a breakfast Sopes Benedictos made with a handmade corn flour disc topped with beans, chorizo, poached egg and Poblano sauce.

Taco Crawl 2026
A limited number of ticket books are available for the upcoming Pasco Taco Crawl.
Now in its 10th year, the annual event invites the community to visit participating taco joints during the designated week, then vote on their favorite.
The Taco Crawl doubles as an introduction to taco restaurants and a fundraiser for Boys & Girls Clubs in Benton and Franklin Counties. Organizers say it has raised nearly $90,000 for the clubs and steered more than $130,000 to local businesses.
The 2026 Taco Crawl is April 17-May 2 and features taco trucks and Mexican restaurants in downtown Pasco.
Ticket books are $40 (before fees) and are only available online. Go to PascoTacoCrawl.com.
