Bird walk planned on Bateman Island

A bird walk on Batemean Island will be led by the Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society on April 2.

Meet at the Wye Parking Lot at 8 a.m. to tour the island to watch for eagles, owls, water birds and warblers with guidance from expert bird watchers. The Wye Parking Lot is on Columbia Park Trail.

Bring binoculars and wear good walking shoes.
