No Discover Pass needed at state parks Sept. 24

No Discover Pass will be needed to visit Washington state parks Sept. 24.

The $30 annual pass is needed most days for cars parked at state parks, but will be waived for the 23rd anniversary of National Public Lands Day. T

he permit will not be required on lands managed by Washington State parks and the Washington departments of National Resources and Fish and Wildlife.

The next free day is Nov. 11.
