Richland Bombers get a playoff test in Spokane. They passed

Parker McCary scored from 1 yard out with 2:23 left in the game to help the Richland Bombers to a 28-21 victory Saturday over Gonzaga Prep in the Class 4A state quarterfinals.

The Bombers (12-0) move on to the semifinals, where they will face Central Valley (10-1), a 41-0 winner over Skyline.

Adam Weissenfels, who caught a 24-yard touchdown pass for Richland, also finished with two interceptions and recovered a fumble with just over two minutes left in the game.

Cade Jensen ran from 1 yard out for one TD, and hit Josh Mendoza for a 4-yard score for the Bombers, who led 21-7 at the half.
