Letter: By all means, check out the character of the people seeking to lead this great nation
Mr. Gerald Sorensen of Richland gave us his opinion of the Democratic leaders in the upcoming election for president (TCH, March 4). In his letter, he repeated the inaccuracies levied against Hillary Clinton by Fox News propaganda. Next, he added his take on the lack of experience that would qualify Bernie Sanders to be commander-in-chief and then he asked us to examine the character of the people seeking to lead us.
I sort of wish he had listed the qualifications of those Republican candidates still running for the office. Difficult, I realize, but there might be something.
Anyone who has watched the so-called Republican debates should understand by now that the frontrunners have received their training from memories of middle school locker-room behavior. Personally, I would rather have adults running this country.
Yes, by all means, check out the character of the people seeking to lead this great nation before casting your vote!
