Letter: Vote Alicia Berry for Superior Court judge
John Trumbo’s endorsement of Alicia Berry in the Tri-City Herald (Oct. 23) is very compelling. As a 38-year journalist and former investigative reporter for the Herald, Mr. Trumbo found that Alicia Berry possesses excellent qualifications for Benton Franklin Superior Court judge.
I was privileged to serve with Alicia on several nonprofit boards and fully concur with Mr. Trumbo’s assessment and endorsement. She will be an outstanding judge. Alicia is also an effective leader, a great communicator and a caring servant of the people. She is honest and fair and routinely makes timely contributions in meetings which lead to the most favorable solutions.
As an attorney, Alicia believes that judges must adhere to the applicable laws of all public agencies up to and including the U.S. Constitution. She has demonstrated her conviction to fully comply with all laws in her legal practice and in her service to non-profit organizations.
Please vote for Alicia Berry for Benton-Franklin County Superior Court judge, Position 3.
We need a judge who is not politically motivated, who complies with the law and who is voted into office based on intelligence, knowledge, fairness and integrity ... not name recognition.
