Eastern WA lottery player turns $1 into six-figure win. Here’s where ticket sold
An Eastern Washington lottery player is more than $100,000 richer after buying a winning ticket, according to lottery officials.
The lucky player matched all five balls in the Hit 5 drawing on Wednesday, April 8, to score $135,000, a Washington’s Lottery spokesperson said.

Where was winning lottery ticket told in Washington?
The winning ticket was sold at the Rosauers supermarket at 5912 Highway 291 in Nine Mile Falls, according to the Washington’s Lottery spokesperson.
The grocery store owners will earn a $1,350 bonus for selling the cashpot-worthy ticket, according to Washington’s Lottery.
Nine Mile Falls is an unincorporated community northwest of Spokane, about two and a half hours from Tri-Cities by car.
What were the winning Hit 5 numbers?
The winning numbers for Wednesday’s Hit 5 drawing were 5, 8, 23, 27 and 34, according to Washington’s Lottery.
The Hit 5 cashpot starts at $100,000 and rises with each drawing without a grand prize winner. With Wednesday’s win, the cashpot resets to $100,000.
According to the state lottery, the odds of winning the cashpot by matching all five balls are one in 851,000.
