A Georgia Powerball player was one number shy of the estimated $29 million jackpot, but still scored a sizable prize.

Someone in Marietta won $150,000 after matching four numbers and the Powerball with the Power Play option in the July 8 drawing, according to the Georgia Lottery.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Canton Food Mart on Canton Road, officials said.

The lucky player would’ve won $50,000 but spent an extra $1 on the Power Play option, tripling their prize.

The winning numbers were 20, 22, 31, 33, 45 and red Powerball 1, according to the lottery game’s website. The Power Play option was 3X.

Someone in New Jersey won $1 million, though no one snagged the lottery game’s grand prize, results show.

The next Powerball drawing is July 10 with an estimated $41 million jackpot.

Marietta is about a 20-mile drive northwest from downtown Atlanta.

What to know about Powerball

To score the jackpot in the Powerball, a player must match all five white balls and the red Powerball.
