Ronald Walter Almberg, Sr., 85, of Richland, died July 18 at Chaplaincy Hospice Care in Kennewick.

He was born in Vermillion, S.D., and lived in Richland for 11 years.

He was a retired ordained minister, journeyman carpenter and ESL teacher.

Hillcrest Funerals and Cremation, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

Larry ‘Skip’ E. Sandberg

Larry “Skip” Everett Sandberg, 83, of Benton City, died July 16 in Benton City.

He was born in Denver, Colo., and lived in the Tri-Cities area since 1967.

He was the retired owner of Tri-City Fence.

Einan’s at Sunset, Richland, is in charge of arrangements.

Thelma L. Gustavson

Thelma Louise Gustavson, 83, of Sunnyside, died July 18 in Grandview.

She was born in Phoenix, Ariz., and was a longtime Yakima Valley resident.

She was a retired para pro for the Grandview School District.

Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, is in charge of arrangements.

Arne J. Armstrong

Arne Jo Armstrong, 74, of Benton City, died July 18 in Benton City.

She was born in Pasco and was a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities.

She was a retired caretaker.

Brenda L. Robertson

Brenda Lee Robertson, 75, of Kennewick, died July 15 in Chaplaincy Hospice Care in Kennewick

She was born in Pendleton, Ore., and lived in Kennewick for the past two years.

She was a retired self employed as the The Happy Hanger painting and wallpapering.

Life Tributes Cremation Center, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

Erich R. Vorpagel

Erich Russell Vorpagel, 71, of Kennewick, died July 3 at Life Care Center of Richland.

He was born in Milwaukee, Wis., and was a Tri-Cities resident since 1998.

He was a retired environmental research chemist for Battelle.

Gregory S. Deaton

Gregory S. Deaton, 52, of Kennewick, died July 14 in Kennewick.

He was born in Sunnyside and was a longtime Lower Yakima Valley resident.

He was a parts manager.
