He was born in Piershel, Holland, and was a longtime Sunnyside resident.

He was a retired general contractor.

Armando Amaro Gutierrez

Armando Amaro Gutierrez, 40, of Sunnyside, died Jan. 24 in Sunnyside.

He was born in Sunnyside and was a lifelong Sunnyside resident.

He was a refrigeration installer.

Douglas Roberts

Douglas Roberts, 71, of Pasco, died Jan. 27 in Richland.

He was born in Grand Rapids, Minn., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 60 years.

He was a retired lead computer operator in a nuclear facility.

Hannah M. Pentecost

Hannah Marie Pentecost, 95, of Kennewick, died Jan. 27 in Kennewick.

She was born in White River, S.D., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 70 years.

She was a homemaker.

Julia E. Sanchez

Julia Eleanor Sanchez, 85, of Pasco, died Jan. 28 at home.

She was born in Plainfield, N.J., and lived in the Tri-Cities for six months.

She was a retired customer service representative at a utility company.

Gerald R. Edwards

Gerald Roy Edwards, 71, of Pasco, died Jan. 27 at home.

He was born in Portland, Ore., and lived in the Tri-Cities for five months.

He was retired and had a master’s degree in education.

Dorene Clyde Routt, 96, of Kennewick, died on Jan. 27 in Richland.
