Kadlec is hosting free back-to-school health fair Saturday with giveaways and games

Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland is hosting a back-to -school fair to help families get ready for the new academic year.

School supplies will be distributed to the first 250 attendees and backpacks will be given out to the first 150 attendees Saturday, Aug. 12.

There also will be a limited supply of free school-required immunizations, games and activities, giveaways and prizes and a traffic safety activity at the Kadlec Healthplex.

Kadlec’s Back-to-School Health Fair is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the healthplex, at 1268 Lee Boulevard, Richland.

They’ve partnered with Safe Kids Benton Franklin, Benton Franklin Health District, Educational Service District 123 and the Kadlec Foundation.

Kids are encouraged to bring their bikes or scooters for the traffic activity and all attendees can enter to win prizes. The health fair is free to attend and is open to the community.
