Police and public safety workers across the Tri-Cities celebrate National Night Out

For around 40 years, Tri-Cities law enforcement has hosted National Night Out events as an opportunity for the community to come and meet their public safety personnel.

The national version of the event celebrated its 72nd year, and four decades in the Tri-Cities on Tuesday.

Hundreds of community members came out for food, fun and games at parks throughout the area.

Kennewick hosted their celebration at the Southridge Sports Complex with carousel rides, tours of police cars and fire trucks, foods, games and more.
