Repairs made to electrical lines to burned Pasco motel

Repairs to the electrical lines serving the Tahitian Inn in Pasco are made Monday by the Franklin PUD after a fire Sunday night. The fire broke out shortly before 5 p.m. in one of the rooms at the motel on West Lewis Street. Firefighters from the Pasco Fire Department were able to get the blaze out quickly. An unidentified elderly man was taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco with burns to his face, police said. He was later taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
