Man arrested for trapping girlfriend in Pasco trailer, beating her for days
A 39-year-old man allegedly trapped and beat his girlfriend for days in a Pasco trailer last week.
And it’s not the first time he’s done it.
Heriberto Carrillo, of Pasco, allegedly left the woman with crushed bones around her eye and fractures in her lower back because he couldn’t find $5 that he believed he had, court documents said.
Prosecutors have charged Carrillo with first-degree assault, unlawful imprisonment, and possession of meth with the intent to distribute.
He is being held in the Franklin County jail without bail.
Pasco police were called to Lourdes Medical Center on May 25 after a severely beaten 33-year-old woman came into the hospital after running away from the trailer in a backyard on Court Street where they lived together.
Investigators said the assault happened over the course of three days, after Carrillo started drinking with the latest violence happening between 1-3 a.m. on May 25.
He allegedly hit her with a baseball bat, used pliers and a torch to cut her hair and stomped on her repeatedly
She managed to escape and was taken to Lourdes before being transferred to Kadlec.
Carrillo has a history of domestic violence, according to court documents. He was sentenced in April 2025 after not letting his then girlfriend leave a locked garage in February 2024.
He was arrested after a SWAT standoff, after threatening officers with a piece of wood shaped like a gun. He was sentenced to 13 months in jail for unlawful imprisonment.
He also was convicted of violating a protection order in Benton County in April 2020.
