Person hit by a pickup inside Richland auto repair shop
Police are investigating after a person was hit Tuesday by a truck inside a Richland auto repair shop.
Richland police were called about 8:55 a.m. to Tommy’s Garage, at 294 Williams Blvd., near the Uptown Shopping Center.
Commander Christopher Mason told the Tri-City Herald that officers are investigating a collision involving a vehicle and a person.
Officers at the scene were taking photos of a pickup truck that was backed into a bay at the garage.
Witnesses who heard the commotion said they were told a man had rammed into someone inside the shop.
The injured man, as well as the suspect, were taken by ambulances to a local hospital, witnesses told the Herald.
Mason said the incident is still under investigation.
Officers were on the scene for several hours Tuesday.

The locally owned shop performs a variety of routine and complex services, with customers often bringing in classic cars, according to its Facebook page.
