A Tri-Cities man is in jail after stabbing a woman, fleeing and then ramming another vehicle.

Kennewick police responded to a call about a woman who had been stabbed multiple times in the 6900 block of W. 27th Ave. at around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Around the same time officers were also called to a wreck with injuries at Bob Olson Parkway and West 15th Place.

Police say the suspect, Adam Hand, 20, allegedly stabbed a woman and then fled in a vehicle. The woman was able to get away and went to nearby residences for help. She was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, but is in stable condition.

Hand then intentionally struck an uninvolved pickup truck on Bob Olson Parkway causing a serious wreck, police said in a Facebook post.

Both vehicles were severely damaged. Photos from the scene show the car Hand was driving landed on its roof.
