Pasco teen accused of beating and robbing romantic rival then hitting him with car

A Pasco teen and his girlfriend allegedly ambushed another teen and stole his $1,200 phone, $800 shoes and the car he was driving.

Then as they were fleeing the scene, the couple allegedly hit victim with his own car.

While the crime happened on Jan. 15, Christian Hernandez Amaya, 18, was only recently charged with first-degree robbery in Franklin County Superior Court. He has been released from the Franklin County jail on $5,000 bail.

The victim, referred to in court documents as AR, texted Eh Ler Moo, now 18, and asked her if she wanted to hang out alone with him, court documents said. Hernandez Amaya, her boyfriend, allegedly got mad and asked to set up AR so he could ambush him.

AR told investigators that he went to Heritage Park in his mother’s Ford Fusion shortly before midnight. He told investigators he saw Moo and two or three other people approach the Fusion.

They allegedly ordered him to get out of the car, and then yanked him out when he didn’t move fast enough. AR told investigators that the teens punched him and got into the Fusion. They hit him with the car as they drove away.

He was left with multiple abrasions and scratches across his body as well as a mark on his back from where the car hit him, court documents said.

The victim knocked on the door of a nearby home to find someone to call and report that the car had been stolen.

There was a $1,200 Apple iPhone, $800 Jordan sneakers and a $500 Louis Vuitton wallet with a $100 Apple Air Tag in the car. All of the items were missing when the car was found, court documents said.

Moo and Hernandez Amaya were arrested shortly after the robbery, but there wasn’t enough proof to continue to hold Hernandez Amaya.

Moo was charged in Benton-Franklin Juvenile Court where she pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery.

Investigators found another witness that identified Hernandez Amaya as one of the suspects involved in the robbery.
