Investigators were at Two Rivers Park southeast of Kennewick on Thursday morning after a body was discovered there.

Initial reports were that a man was found about 11 a.m. near the shoreline at the 273-acre park on the Columbia River. The park is near the unincorporated area of Finley.

Benton County Sheriff’s Sgt. Horacio Gonzalez said detectives are conducting a death investigation and no other information was immediately available.

The sheriff’s office investigates anytime someone dies alone. It doesn’t necessarily indicate that foul play is involved.
