Woman pulls gun at a Tri-Cities auto shop then gets in line for lunch at Zip’s
A 60-year-old woman was arrested in the Zip’s restaurant drive-thru after she pulled a gun at a nearby mechanic’s shop, said police.
Kristen A. Kennedy of Pasco pulled into the mechanic’s shop on the 200 block of North Date Street shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday after she spotted a car she believed belonged to a family member, Kennewick Officer Sebastian Castilleja said.
When employees told her she was wrong, she started arguing. They eventually told her to leave, so she went outside and retrieved a gun from her car.
She pointed it at an employee before returning to her black Monte Carlo and driving away, he said.
Her next stop was the Zip’s By The Cable Bridge on Columbia Drive. She was waiting in the drive-thru line when officers surrounded her car.
She was arrested and was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of felony harassment.
