Richland police are investigating their third luring case this month.

Officials posted Monday on Facebook about another luring attempt Friday.

The details are much like those from the second case on Dec. 9.

In that case, a heavy set man in his 40s approached a 12-year-old girl on Wellhouse Loop and tried to pay her to get into his car.

Witnesses said the man has shaggy, gray and brown hair covering his ears. The first case was Dec. 4 and involved a man and a woman. In the latest case, Richland police say the man has a brown and gray beard. But they did not release information about what happened.

Investigators are looking for a gray hatchback, possibly with Oregon plates, that may be connected to the incidents.

Anyone with information on any of the cases is asked to email Detective Hyrum Stohel at hstohel@ci.richland.wa.us or call dispatch at 509-628-0333.
