4 boys arrested for Finley graffiti spree

Four boys were arrested after a graffiti painting spree in Finley and Kennewick that caused about $1,000 in damage.

The names and ages of the juveniles were not released but they are facing charges of malicious mischief and trespassing after tagging dozens of businesses and public and private property.

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office said taggers hit more than a dozen targets on June 23 and still more in the following weeks in and around eastern Kennewick and Finley.

Victims included Frontier Communications, BNSF, Charter Communications, Benton County Roads Department, Waste Management and at least four other private properties.

Most of the graffiti has been covered up through the efforts of the victims, the Graffiti Abatement Program and the Benton County Gang Team.
