Final stretch of Dallas Road roundabout work means a new detour
Motorists face detours in south Richland as work to finalize a roundabout on Dallas Road kicks into gear next week.
Work to finalize the new roundabout at Trowbridge Boulevard at Dallas Road begins Monday and will require contractors to reroute westbound traffic around the area.
Trowbridge will close at Dallas while crews can finish pavement work, concrete islands and other final touches at the roundabout.
The work will take about three weeks, the city of Richland said. Traffic will be detoured via Gateway.
New roundabouts on Dallas Road are designed to improve traffic, reduce congestion and make the corridor safer for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.
