An estimated 2,300 runners and walkers hit the pavement Saturday morning for the 47th annual Lampson Cable Bridge Run in the Tri-Cities.
Many were decked out in holiday costumes from Christmas trees and Grinch costumes to Santa suits.
Others made more quirky choices, including inflatable dinosaurs and flamingos.

The cable bridge was closed Saturday morning for one of the Tri-Cities’ most popular holiday traditions as runners and walkers or all ages and abilities crossed from Kennewick to Pasco in the 10K, 5K and 1-mile races.
