Tri-Cities driver killed in Highway 395 after crashing into pillar in Pasco

A Kennewick man is dead after a serious wreck in Pasco on Tuesday evening.

Josiah Torres, 21, was driving southbound on Highway 395 near the Interstate 182 interchange just before 5 p.m. when his 2004 Ford Escape left the roadway and hit a concrete pillar, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Torres was pronounced dead at the scene and his family was notified.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
