Team members at the Hanford Vitrification Plant donated more than $23,000 in toys and cash to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves’ Toys for Tots and Local 598’s Bikes for Tikes campaigns.

Representatives from both organizations gathered at the plant jobsite recently to accept the donations for this holiday season.

Of the $23,000 in donations, $18,000 was designated for Toys for Tots and included cash and toy donations, Amazon wishlist purchases and fundraisers.

The remaining $5,000 was donated to Local 598’s Bikes for Tikes and went toward buying 50 bikes and helmets.

Representatives from the Local 598’s Bikes for Tikes organization also attended the event.
