Trees are being cut down and pulverized on nearly 5 acres along George Washington Way in Richland.

It’s the site of the new Bradley Boulevard Apartment complex being developed Cedar and Sage Homes.

Cedar and Sage is building two apartment projects in the area.

A 5-story building is planned closer to the waterfront.

Project Manager Steve Hudson told the Herald that they expect the building to include 26 to 30 condos, all with views of the river.

And a 144-unit apartment development will be on the 5-acre parcel.
