Here are the most popular baby names in Tri-Cities. See how they compare in WA

The Tri-Cities graduating classes of 2039 should have plenty of girls named Olivia and boys named Ezra.

Those were the most popular names for babies born last year at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, the Tri-Cities largest hospital.

Olivia was joined in the Top 5 by Sophia, Isabella, Amelia and Camilia.

That was followed by Stella, Aria, Hazel, Mia and Liliana.

For boys, the top names were Ezra, Noah, Liam, Mateo and James.

The next five were Santiago, Elijah, Ethan, Asher and Oliver.

The Social Security Administration also compiles lists of top baby names for each year.

However, it uses the names on applications for Social Security cards, creating a lag.

The most recent list of popular names for Washington state from Social Security data is for 2020.

Tri-Cities area residents had some names not on that top 10 list — Camila, Stella, Aria and Liliana.

Liliana was particularly unusual, not ranking in the top 100 names in Washington state for 2020.

For boys, Ezra, Mateo, James, Santiago, Ethan and Asher were not in the top 10 for Washington state.

Santiago was the least common, coming in at 72 on the state list.
