Reader Poll: What is the most dangerous Tri-Cities intersection?
Last month Tri-City leaders asked for input on some of the busiest intersections in the Tri-Cities, asking residents how they can improve safety, congestion and pedestrian access.
In Pasco, officials took a look at possibilities for revamping the Broadmoor and Interstate 182 Interchange with expected growth in the area set to explode over the next few years.
The intersection has already proved to be a headache in need of solutions without accounting for the thousands of new homes set to come into the area, along with a significant retail center.
In Richland, city officials discussed ideas for pedestrian and bicycle safety and access improvements at some of the city’s busiest crossings, as well as a look at how they plan to work to ease congestion without relying on state dollars.
At these meetings, much of the feedback focused on the danger to pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists.
With huge developments set to start moving forward after COVID delays, the worst intersections are likely to see even more traffic problems.
We want to know what our readers think is the worst intersection in Tri-Cities.
