Rock legends set for opening night of 2022 Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo

Two of the biggest names in rock are coming to the Tri-Cities.

Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo will kick off the 74th annual Benton Franklin Fair and Rodeo. Tickets go on sale Friday.

Benatar is best known for hits such as “Hit me with your best shot,” “Heartbreaker,” “Love Is a Battlefield,”“We Belong” and more. She is a four-time Grammy Award-winner and has sold more than 35 million records worldwide.

Benatar will be joined by longtime collaborator and husband, guitar legend Neil Giraldo. In addition to their work together, Giraldo has contributed to, produced and written hits with other rock superstars like Rick Springfield and Kenny Loggins.

Together they have created two multi-platinum, five platinum and three gold albums, as well as nineteen Top 40 hits.

Their rock and roll love affair has endured for more than three and a half decades. Pat and Neil continue to tour, selling out concerts everywhere.

Tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. Feb. 18 at www.bentonfranklinfair.com, and Kennewick Ranch & Home. Reserved seats are $25. Fair admission is also required with reserved seats; general seating is free with fair admission.

The fair runs Aug. 23-27 at the Benton County Fairgrounds in Kennewick.
