Police find Jeep owned by a Kennewick woman, 25, found dead Saturday

The Jeep owned by a Kennewick woman found dead in her home Saturday has been located by police several blocks away.

The body of Tessa West, 25, was discovered by her roommate early Saturday morning and she may have died several days before then, according to Kennewick police.

There are suspicious circumstances surrounding the waitress’ death, they said. An autopsy is pending.

West’s white 2005 Jeep Liberty was found in the 3000 block of West Fourth Avenue, police said Sunday morning. West’s home was on the 2600 block of West Sixth Avenue.

Police were working to get a search warrant Sunday morning for the Jeep.

They also have been working to find out what West had been doing in recent weeks.

West worked as a waitress at The Pub, according to her Facebook profile. She grew up in Grants Pass and graduated from Glendale High School in Glendale Ore.

Police are asking anyone with information, including about the Jeep and anyone who may be associated with it, to contact officers through the non-emergency dispatch line at 509-628-0333, and refer to Kennewick Police Department case 20-03370.
