Victim identified in Grandview death

A 24-year-old man who died after being found unresponsive in a Grandview home Saturday has been identified as Tye Edward Walsh.

The Yakima County Coroner’s Office said the cause of death is pending results of toxicology tests.

Walsh was born in Yakima and lived in Sunnyside at the time of his death. He worked as a seasonal laborer.

Grandview police and paramedics were called to the home in the 2300 block of Avenue G but were unable to resuscitate Walsh. Foul play was not suspected.
