Watch out for teen litter crews in Mid-Columbia
The Department of Ecology is asking drivers to give teen crews a brake as they gather litter along Mid-Columbia roads.
Drivers may want to move over a lane when they see the workers, according to the agency.
Teens with the Ecology Youth Corps started picking up litter this week and will continue through most of August.
For most of the teens, ages 14 to 17, it is their first paid job.
