Ecology hiring teens for summer litter crews in Richland

The Washington Department of Ecology is accepting applications for youth jobs this summer, including in the Tri-Cities.

Teens ages 14 to 17 will be paid $11 an hour to pick up litter.

Those selected for the Ecology Youth Corps will work 35 hours per week Monday to Friday on crews based in Richland, Sunnyside, Yakima, Toppenish, Ellensburg or Goldendale.

They will be hired for a three-week session starting July 5 or July 27.
