Something bouncy and new coming to old Tri-Cities Bed, Bath & Beyond
Tri-Cities families will soon get a new place to bounce.
Urban Air Adventure Park, a chain of indoor trampoline parks and party venues for families, is opening its first Eastern Washington location at the former Bed, Bath and Beyond spot near Columbia Center in Kennewick.
Kennewick building records indicate the $2 million renovations and new signs have been authorized for the 31,000-square-foot space at 1220 N. Columbia Center Blvd.
Owners Brandon McNamara and Christopher Romes secured a Kennewick business license in December and incorporated under the name Let Em Fly Inc, corporation records show.
The future trampoline park has been empty for about three years after the home goods chain closed brick and mortar locations.
Urban Air Park is part of the Unleashed Brands chain of more than 1,400 entertainment venues for families. The Little Gym and Sylvan Learning are corporate siblings.
Urban Air boasts trampolines and a variety of other activities, with each location having its own mix of offerings. There are four Urban Air spots in the Puget Sound area and three in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
The Kennewick location is situated inside the Columbia Square shopping center. Planet Construction is the contractor.
