The growing popularity of tabletop gaming has fueled the expansion of a store dedicated to the hobby.
Tri-Cities Gaming says it’s a “space designed by gamers, for gamers.”
The trading card and tabletop gaming business opened its doors Tuesday at its new larger location at Marineland Village in Kennewick.
It’s a prominent corner storefront once home to Marla June’s clothing boutique at the busy corner of Clearwater Avenue and Edison Street. The gaming shop outgrew it’s original home near Columbia Center mall.
The new shop, which is open daily, gives Tri-Cities Gaming more space and more ability to hold events and serve the gaming community.
“We’re beyond thrilled for this next chapter and can’t wait to build something even bigger and better together,” it posted on Facebook.
The shop offers weekly gaming schedules, fantasy drafts and tournament qualifiers for numerous games such as Magic the Gathering, Lorcana, The Diamond in the Desert and Yu-Gi-Oh! There also are learn-to-play events.
Tabletop game play can include card and dice games, board games and miniature wargames.

Lutheran Community Services consolidates
Lutheran Community Services Northwest is preparing to consolidate its operations into a single Kennewick location in August 2026.
The nonprofit will consolidate its Kennewick and Pasco offices in a 38,000-square-foot spot formerly used by Amazon at 7011 W. Canal Drive.
Lutheran Community Services supports youth and families.
“This is more than a move — it’s an investment in the future of youth mental health in our community,” said Sharon Gentry, district director.
Renovations of the new space will begin in November. Its new home will give the nonprofit more room to collaborate and hold events while providing modernized utilities and HVAC systems.
The project is funded by grants and a community fund-raising campaign. Contact mccurtiss@lcsnw.org.
