One airline is leaving Tri-Cities. 2 are stepping in to serve Southern CA
Alaska Airlines is stepping into the breach left as Avelo Airlines exits the West Coast, ending its regular service between Tri-Cities Airport and Burbank, Calif.
Alaska will begin offering daily service starting on Oct. 26. It is the second airline to step up to maintain the connection.
Utah-based Breeze Airways previously said it would fill the gap with bi-weekly service beginning March 18, 2026.
Alaska will assign a 76-seat Embraer to the Burbank run. The airline provides service to Los Angeles International well.
The Tri-Cities Airport is served by Alaska, Allegiant, American, Breeze, Delta and United.
